Randa Sadik as Deputy CEO

Arab Bank announced today the appointment of Randa Sadik as its Deputy Chief Executive Officer, starting July 1st, 2010.

Arab Bank Executive Chairman Mr. Abdul Hamid Shoman commented on this appointment by saying:" Ms Sadik brings to Arab Bank broad international banking experience, combining strategic thinking and hands on approach. Ms Sadik has a proven track record of over 24 years during which she carried out key management and leadership roles in banking".

Sadik who holds an MBA degree from the American university of Beirut, has a vast experience in the banking sector as she has been working in this field since 1986 for the National Bank of Kuwait.

During her tenure in NBK Ms. Sadik assumed several key management and executive positions in Risk Management, Treasury and Asset Management, in addition to top management positions including the posts of Managing Director of NBK international in London, and Group General Manager –International Branches and Subsidiaries.
