Arab Bank launched the new “Baeti” service via its “Arabi Mobile” app as part of the bank’s constant efforts to provide the latest digital banking services and solutions offering customers a seamless banking experience that saves their time and effort within the highest levels of flexibility.


“Baeti” is the first of its kind consumer digital banking service in Jordan, offering customers who desire to own a property through a mortgage loan from Arab Bank, the ability to conduct proper financial planning based on their financial capabilities via “Arabi Mobile” app. The digital service also allows customers to set a suitable budget using the borrowing power calculator for calculating expenses and financial obligations in detail, and setting the down payment and monthly fees in line with their financial capabilities and needs. Additionally, the service offers “Find the Right Property” feature in collaboration with “OpenSooq” which enables customers to browse for properties online based on their choice of filters including property size, location and more. This is in addition to the “Hire a Realtor” feature and customer service around the clock via “Arabi Mobile” app. 


Commenting on the launch of the new service, Mr. Yacoub Matouk, Head of Consumer Banking at Arab Bank – Jordan, said: “The launch of “Baeti” service via Arabi Mobile app comes as part of Arab Bank’s ongoing efforts to provide innovative digital banking solutions and services to customers through the bank’s digital channels in line with their needs and lifestyle.” He added: “This service is yet another value-added addition to Arabi Mobile app’s digital features, enabling customers to search for their dream home or property in mind pursuant to their specifications, plan for a suitable budget in line with their financial capabilities, and then apply for a mortgage loan online within the highest levels of flexibility and security.” 


It is worth mentioning that the “Arabi Mobile” app offers a host of digital banking solutions that enable customers to conduct their transactions digitally around the clock from anywhere using smartphones and tablets within the highest levels of flexibility and security. Additionally, customers who are interested in opening accounts with Arab Bank can now download "Arabi Mobile" app through App Store or Google Play and Huawei AppGallery then use the option "Open New Account" available through the application to enter the required information without the need to visit a branch.
